"Dave is truly a remarkable man, empathetic yet REAL....."

Throughout my life, professionally and personally, I have met some great people, but Dave tops the list. It’s rare to meet someone true to their character 24/7, but Dave has taught me the gift of “letting go” and truly finding the person I’ve fought hard to be and until working with Dave I was failing miserably.

In this day and age, so many have read a book or watched a video and claim to be an expert on changing lives. Personally, it’s hard to take advice, discuss life's hard truths, and put a real game plan together with someone who heard a “cool quote” or saw a “great movie” to help. Dave comes with life experiences both personally and professionally, creating instant trust and viability in his plan.

Now, I will say it’s not easy, you must rip the Band-Aid of life off, and deal with the pain but trust me, Dave is right there to pick you up when times get tough. I was at rock bottom in my life, more dark days than bright, more questions than answers, more what ifs vs. what is and there’s not a day that goes by I don’t thank God for putting Dave in my life.

After 12 weeks, I’m not going to say I’m “fixed” but when I used to have dark times that would last weeks, with the lessons learned, weeks are now a day or two! Dave is truly a remarkable man, empathetic yet REAL and if anyone wants to live the rest of their days filled with hope and strategies to last a lifetime, Dave is your guy!

"I was truly impacted by his keen attention to detail and understanding."

I pursued working with a Life and Health Coach to improve my verbal communication skills by being more direct in professional conversations and developing the confidence to express my professional opinions regardless of who is in the room. After meeting with Dave, I wrote a statement defining my future self that included goals and action steps. Dave referred back to the goals and action steps at every meeting and held me accountable, which truly impacted my growth.

My confidence grew during the coaching period. I learned to become comfortable with uncomfortable conversations. I found myself expressing my professional opinions in situations where I may have otherwise waited for others to seek my opinion.

At the end of the twelve weeks, I found myself walking taller and being true to my inner self professionally and personally. I hold myself accountable for the food I eat, the actions I take, the words I use, and do my very best to carve out time for myself.

Dave was phenomenal in all ways. He held me accountable for my actions (and inactions) with grace and patience. Through a series of thoughtful questions, he would help me to understand the root of my anxiety, concern, or frustration and together we would work through it and come to a resolution.

Eventually, I learned to ask myself the questions and work through resolutions that I could discuss with him.

Weekly meetings with a consistent schedule helped me to think through events and conversations that occurred during the week and prepare for meetings. I knew that completing my weekly action steps was important to the process and shockingly noticed that I didn't mind putting in the work because I saw results.

After every coaching session, Mr. Wright sent me a very thorough and insightful message of our discussion that included follow-up items. When reading the messages, I knew immediately that he heard my words and saw my emotions because everything was captured perfectly - even the names I mentioned!

He provided articles, books, and documents that had purpose and sought out my thoughts and reactions.

In short, I was truly impacted by his keen attention to detail and understanding.

"Dave helped me transform from being burnt out to feeling hopeful and confident in all aspects of my life."

As someone who does not like to ask for help and often has difficulty accepting help, I was a bit skeptical about how effective coaching would be for me. I’ve listened to podcasts and read self-help books, but nothing really seemed to stick. After working with Dave for 12 weeks and following his process, I can confidently and enthusiastically say that it is one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. I am healthier, both physically and mentally than I’ve been in years and I’m more confident in what I have to offer professionally.

Dave helped me transform from being burnt out to feeling hopeful and confident in all aspects of my life.  He led me through a process that challenged me and held me accountable, but provided guidance, encouragement, and tools to help me reach my goals. His kindness and compassion along with his thoughtful insights, strategies and recommendations were the key to my success in making positive changes. I always left our sessions feeling motivated and his mid-week check ins and encouraging emails kept me going.

What I appreciate most is that Dave has provided me with tools so that I can continue to make progress or course correct if/when I get off-track. I am truly grateful to Dave for his help, guidance, patience and most of all his confidence in me. He believed I could make positive changes. He helped me believe in myself, and that has made all the difference in how I now approach work, health, and life.

"Dave is more than a leader—he’s a world-class mentor"

While therapy has been beneficial for many, I found that most approaches didn’t offer the actionable insights I needed to achieve my ambitious goals. I was searching for guidance from someone who not only understood the path but had walked it themselves, gaining wisdom along the way. Knowing of Dave’s incredible personal and professional successes, I felt he was exactly the person I needed to turn to.

When I enrolled in the program, I had a clear vision of my goals but lacked the frameworks to achieve them across different areas of my life. Dave didn’t just help me clarify my goals—he offered the insight and direction I needed to bring them to life. More than that, he helped me uncover needs I hadn’t even realized I had—forgotten desires that, once acknowledged, became key to my long-term fulfillment. His mentorship was exactly what I needed, delivered with warmth, empathy, and a commitment to keeping me accountable every step of the way.

Thanks to Dave’s guidance, I was able to transform my life in ways I didn’t think possible. In addition to this, he gave me the confidence, strategic know-how, and expertise to secure a prestigious position, providing me with the tools I needed to navigate the challenges along the way. Dave’s program has truly been a blessing and, honestly, paid for itself.

For much of my life, I lacked a role model and relied on approaches that were most comfortable to me. I now see that the frameworks I once clung to weren’t always the ones that would lead to the greatest success.

Dave is more than a leader—he’s a world-class mentor. Even though the program has long since ended, I reflect on the experience with deep gratitude. I now look ahead with a renewed sense of purpose, excitement, and clarity that I had been missing before. I have no doubt that Dave has the expertise and heart to transform the lives of anyone who’s ready to take that first step.

"It won't be easy, it won't be comfortable, but it will be 100% worth it"

I first met Dave in a previous job where he was a client of mine. It was obvious from the outset and throughout that Dave was a very experienced, professional yet kind and personable man. When I found out that he was a life coach I knew I had to take the leap and go to him for help.

I had been struggling for years with many issues. Some do the issues were so complex  I couldn’t even figure out what they were. I jumped into the program knowing I had nothing to lose. I worked with Dave on a regular and frequent basis for a period of time where he taught me many important but incredibly simple techniques to identify the areas in my life that were letting me down or holding me back.

I was in a position where, despite doing incredibly well for myself on all fronts, I was unable to enjoy the everyday due to anxiety. I am so glad to be able to say that I have been able to apply the teachings from Dave to be able to understand and manage these feelings. He also set me up to be able to handle myself and not be reliant on him or anyone/thing else. I am thrilled to be able to truly say that I enjoy my everyday life, through the ups, downs, and everything in between.

Despite not telling anyone that I started this program, I have been told by multiple people that they have noticed a shift in my energy and happiness which is as much a testament to Dave’s incredible coaching as it is to my efforts.

It won’t be easy, it won’t be comfortable, but it will be 100% worth it!

"I couldn't recommend Dave more highly. It's one of the best decisions I've made for my own career!"

I've been somewhat skeptical of life coaching services in the past and wondered how useful they might be for some of the issues I was facing in my professional life. For me personally, additional challenges related to a new leadership role were causing me to second guess my abilities to perform at work and I needed some guidance on how best to navigate the new responsibilities I had in my career.

Dave helped me identify roadblocks that I was creating for myself in my new role and develop creative ways to reframe problematic thinking so that I approached new problems in a more positive light. His guidance comes from many years of his own experience as a leader and his own methodologies for fostering a positive and rewarding work environment for people who relied on his guidance. He's able to hone in on little lines of thinking that result in something that's basically like self-sabotage and help you head those lines of thinking off and deal with them in a healthy way.

It's difficult to change deeply ingrained habits that might be rooted in years of negative thinking but Dave has a patient and caring approach that helps plant some seeds in your brain and then nurture the growth of positive behavior that I immediately noticed benefits from in my own career. I felt much less anxiety at work and I was able to foster closer professional relationships with my team of people that has led to a slew of personal and professional accomplishments that I don't think I would have without the guidance from Dave.

I know Dave helps people with personal issues beyond just their careers but if you find yourself in a position at work similar to mine and you need some help basically finding your own professional mojo, I couldn't recommend Dave more highly. It's one of the best decisions I've made for my own career!

Two men engaged in a serious conversation across a table in a bright room.

Dave took a real interest in me and my situation, and our work together was very collaborative.

I began looking for a career coach after losing a job I had held for more than thirty years. I was 64 and, because of my long tenure with one employer, had very little experience looking for jobs, especially in a marketplace that had changed so much over the years. The last time I had conducted a job search, resumes were sent through the mail, job ads were mainly in the local newspaper, and branding was something that ranchers did to their cows.

Given the circumstances, I thought a career coach could help me to get up to speed with the latest job-hunting techniques and conventions. I was initially attracted to the Wright Life because Dave looked much younger than his given age on the website. It was a fortunate decision, as I ended up getting much more than a career coach.

Dave took a real interest in me and my situation, and our work together was very collaborative. We initially looked at what my personal goals were as well as my professional ones, a really important step given that I was nearing retirement age. We went through a number of possible job titles that I could pursue, and Dave also showed me how to get organized in order to reach my goals. I would receive encouraging emails during the week in which Dave summarized what we had discussed at our last meeting and what I needed to do for the week ahead.

Our conversations went far beyond writing resumes and preparing for job interviews. Dave and I often discussed concerns I had about my family life, my financial situation, whatever I had on my mind. And although I have trouble maintaining my focus, Dave never got frustrated. Rather, he went to great lengths to help me work around these limitations; when I had trouble putting together a website to promote my work, for example, Dave prepared a worksheet that spelled out each step I needed to take and helped me chart my progress.

The best testimonial I can give, however, is that even though our original contract ended months ago, I still come in to meet with Dave as I build my business.
